MIRA
Mira, the owner and founder of Paradise Pet Care, LOVES all pets! She is originally from Ukraine, but has lived in the US since 1998 and now considers San Diego her home. She grew up with a wide variety of pets – dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters and even chickens! After graduating from UCSD with a Masters in International Relations in 2009, she decided to stay in San Diego working for an alternative energy startup and Home Buddies pet service. Her love for animals inspired her to start her own pet care company. This is how Paradise Pet Care was born in 2014. She loves the opportunity to always be around animals and working outdoors. With a great pet sitting team, pet loving San Diegans and so many beautiful beaches and parks in our city, this career is unbeatable.
SANDY
Sandy has been walking dogs, taking care of cats, birds, fish and turtles since moving from Massachusetts to La Jolla in 1999. In addition to loving and caring for pets, Sandy had an exciting career as a sportswriter at the Worcester Telegram & Gazette in Worcester, Massachusetts where he covered the Boston Bruins, the New England Patriots, Super Bowls, World Series and NCAA basketball Final Fours along with high schools and college games. Sandy has been able to continue his sportswriting career here in San Diego, where he is a freelance reporter for the Associated Press and MLB.com as well as working for the La Jolla Patch.com.
PAMELA
Pamela has a lifetime of animal experience, and love of the outdoors—all from summer's spent on her grandparent’s farm. She married a San Diego native in 1990, and is the Design Coordinator, and Brand Manager @ La Jolla’s JMA Industrial Design Office. She returned to pet sitting because it’s an activity that inspires and enriches her life. She specializes in loving care, and spoiling your pet. Pamela has a keen eye, and takes beautiful photos of your pets as well. She transforms these photos into an exclusive illustration just for you. LEE ANN
Lee Ann has been dog and cat sitting for the past 20 years in La Jolla and San Diego’s Pacific Beach area. After hanging with her on walks, hikes, play dates and overnight stays, dogs and cats tend to become more social, happy, interactive, obedient and healthier.
LAURA
Hi, I'm Laura. I moved here to San Diego from Minnesota in 2008. I started doing professional in home pet sitting in 2014. I grew up with a deep love for animals and always wanted to work with them. I have a soft spot for big dogs and black cats. I have a little black cat of my own named Wednesday.
KIKI
This is me and one of my fur babies Sasha. She's the oldest of my cats. I have one other cat named Juno and a shepherd mix dog named Delilah.. I work as a social worker during the week and volunteer at a farm on Sunday. In between I love caring for animals.
MELISSA
My cat Chaya & I have lived together for 15 years. I studied art in college near Cleveland, Ohio then moved to San Diego in 2022. I've been in social work for almost a decade & love to care for all kinds of pets, create paintings, & grow flowers.
OLENA
Hi, I’m Olena.
I’m an elementary school teacher, so care, patience, and responsibility are simply part of who I am. I’m a positive, open-hearted, hardworking person you can truly rely on.
I’m originally from Ukraine, have two grown children, and animals have always been a big part of my life. I truly love dogs and cats — and they usually love me right back.

HOLLY
Holly is a Southern California girl at heart. She was born and raised in Glendale CA before moving to Albuquerque NM for a time. Holly relocated to San Diego, Mission Beach, a few years ago and cannot be happier to be back near the ocean, sunshine and pet loving community. Holly absolutely loves animals, loves having them around her house and has owned a pet her entire life. Holly says, “I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to be around such wonderful dogs and cats each day while spending time outside in our wonderful Southern CA environment. I look forward to meeting you and your lovable pet.”
Nikki
My name is Nikki and I have always had a passion for animals! When I was a little girl I had an obsession with birds and would constantly point them out when I was outdoors. As an adult, I decided that I wanted to work in the animal field. I started working at a local vet clinic and from there moved on to a career as an animal trainer at Sea World. I started with the birds, otters, and small mammals. This, of course, was a great fit since I always had a love for birds. From there, I moved on to working with sea lions, dolphins, and pilot whales. I worked there for a total of 12 years and now as a mom of 2 boys I have found a way to combine my passion for animals with my family time. I love caring for dogs, cats, and of course parrots!
DANA
Hi, I’m Dana. I am a local yoga teacher and SUP Instructor here in San Diego. I am orginally from New Jersey and grew up with a house full of dogs. I have been working with Paradise Pet Care for over 10 years. I love sharing my love of nature with the pets I sit. You can find me doing tail runs with the dogs I walk, or taking long adventures out to the beach. I treat every walk I take as an experience, creating a unique adventure for your pup. You can bet that your pup returns home tired and excited for our next day trip.
CALI
Cali is a Vet Tech student taking night classes at Pima Medical Institute. San Diego born and raised, she moved to LA after high school to attend UCLA for over 2 years. During her third year she got a job as a dog handler at a boarding/daycare facility, and everything clicked. After countless major changes and years of feeling out of place, she knew she had to move back home and pursue her childhood dream job of being a veterinarian. Now she’s at the top of her class, on track to graduate by Dec 2020 and become licensed Vet Tech a year after! She started contracting with Paradise Pet Care soon after moving back, and is now gets always asked for various jobs for pets with medical needs. She volunteers at the shelters and is surrounded by animals 24/7 . Her life is dedicated to ensuring their safety and well-being in any way she can.
SARA
Living in the San Diego coastal area for over 30 years, Sara enjoys exploring natural terrain as well as appreciating the wonders of your pets environment. Having grown up with cats & fish, she fell in love with a terrier mix who taught Sara the subtleties of understanding canines unique ways of communicating their needs (& wants!!), from training in the puppy stage to compassionate accommodations in her dogs senior years. Currently level 2 reiki certified Sara offers a loving, healing synergy in every pet interaction, respecting your home and their personal space.
ANN
I have been a professional pet sitter for over 13 years, beginning my journey by caring for friends’ pets. What started as a simple favor quickly grew into a true passion for animal care. I later founded ANML Pet Sitting and had the pleasure of meeting Mira and Paradise when she cared for my own cats. After experiencing her dedication and professionalism firsthand, I joined the team. For the past five years, I’ve proudly been part of Paradise Pet Care continuing to provide reliable, compassionate care to every pet I meet.
