Scheduling
Please make your reservations as soon as you know your travel dates, this way we can guarantee your favorite sitter. There is a $10 fee for the last minute bookings (less than 48 hours, less than 72 hours for the new clients). If you are booking less than 3 days before your trip please send us a text to 858-333-6820 in addition to the online booking. We will do our best to accommodate last minute requests but we cannot guarantee your first choice sitter.
Payment
Payment method needs to be added to the online portal at the time of booking for emergencies. We don’t have to bill that card for your services. You are able to send/leave check, use Venmo or PayPal once your invoice is generated (first week of the following month in which services took place). Please make sure you receive emails from Pet Sit Click (those often go to the spam folder and you may need to add that address to your contacts) since that’s where invoice will be coming from. Typically you have 2-3 weeks to pay your bill after you receive an email with your bill. If invoice is outstanding past the due date it will be billed to the payment on file. .
Cancellation
Full first visit cancellation fee will be applied for vacation reservations cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, and first night for overnights and boarding bookings cancelled less than 1 week prior to services starting.
Holiday cancellation policy on vacation visits: 25% is non refundable if you have to cancel less than 1 week before the start of the booking.
Holiday cancellation policy for overnight and boarding services: 50% non-refundable if cancelled less than 2 weeks before the beginning of the booking. (Bookings last week of November and last two weeks of December)
Payment for the holiday bookings (Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years) will be required upfront.
Key pick up/ drop off
$10 if the key pick up/drop off is scheduled outside of meet-n-greet. Please provide us with 2 copies of the key during our first meeting unless you have a lockbox on site or keyless entry. Before the services are completed please let us know if you'd like us to hold on to your keys, to leave them on site, or if we need to schedule a drop off. You are always welcome to mail them or drop them off before the services start, and pick them up yourself free of charge from our office location any time of the day or night.
Discounts
We are happy to offer 10% package discounts to our dog walking clients who book regular daily walks during the week. This discount doesn’t apply to vacation visits. We also offer discount to military, firefighters, police officers, teachers (K-12) and animal rescue employees and volunteers. We are grateful for all your hard work! Please let us know if you qualify for the discount.
Miscellaneous
For overnight bookings please make sure your house is cleaned prior to the sitter checking in. If you would like the sitter to bring their own bedding please mention that to us prior to the booking starting. If the spaces which are anticipated to be used by the sitter are not adequately cleaned we will add a cleaning fee to your final bill.
